Archer Capital

Yehia is an experienced investment professional with over a decade of experience in the alternative investments space, across both debt and equity. He is currently the Co-Founding Partner of Panacea Innovation in the UK, venture capital fund (with AUM of GPB 25 million across two funds) investing in health care/tech and life sciences across the MENA region. He was also the founder and managing director of Port-Said for Agricultural Development (a publicly listed company in Egypt). Prior to that, he was the former Managing Partner of AIC Finance, Egypt’s first mezzanine fund, where he managed a fund of EGP 180 million invested across 150 SMEs (%40 of which were based in Upper Egypt). He was also elected the Head of the Finance and Banking Committee at Egyptian Junio Business Association (“EJB”) Egypt, where he was responsible for the banks’ SME funding and ecosystem development. Yehia holds Master’s degree in Finance from City University’s CASS Business School (UK), as well as Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Finance from the American University in Cairo (2008).

With over 26 years of experience in the field of investment and consultancy. After receiving his bachelors in business from the AUC, he started his career at EFG-Hermes, then moved to Ahly Brokerage. He holds an MBA (Financial Strategy) from University of Westminster UK and a Doctorate Degree in Business Administration from Durham University, UK. He advised several companies in listing on the Egyptian stock market setting corporate strategy, corporate restructuring and setting investment strategy many clients. Dr. Nader is also the CEO of Archer Financial Leasing Company.

Mr. Fouad Comes with an extensive experience of more than 23 years in Investment Banking in the GCC & MENA region. He held several roles with the Islamic Development Bank affiliates and Kuwait Finance House subsidiaries. Mr. Fouad established more than 15 Investment Funds and Joint Ventures in several countries. Mr. Fouad is specialized in financial engineering and business valuation. He also served on the board of several investment funds in the GCC, Munshaat Real Estate Company K.S.C and PT Gapuraprima, Zamzam Towers in KSA. He led the consultancy division of BKR Audit firm in Egypt, and established several successful companies in Egypt in the Real Estate Sector, Food & Beverage, Healthcare, Education. Mr. Ahmed serves as a consultant for USAID projects in Egypt. Mr. Fouad is a Chartered Financial Analyst and holds a Bachelor Degree in Finance from Alexandria University and a Masters Degree from Maastricht School of Management – Netherlands.

Dr. Basel Roshdy is the chairman of IT Investments Fund and chairman and CEO of Nile Capital Holding. Basel has 28 years of experience in investment and fund management, VC, business and corporate development. Basel has executed and exited investments in renewable energy, telecom, technology, education, and infrastructure in Egypt and abroad, and is an active player in Private Equity (“PE”) and VC ecosystem. Basel has developed and invested in projects with PPP and BOT schemes. Prior to that, Basel has worked in project finance and syndications in corporate banking. Basel holds BSC in Construction Engineering and MBA from AUC, and doctorate degree in corporate finance from MSM Netherlands and London. Basel is a founding Board Member and the General Secretary of the Egyptian PE Association

Mr. Morsy is currently the Country Head (Egypt & Yemen) for Finance in Motion (the world’s leading impact asset manager headquartered in Germany). He is overseeing the investment activities for the Sanad Fund for MSMEs and the Green for Growth Fund for Renewably Energy & Energy Efficiency, with a portfolio mainly in debt assets to the largest banks in the country. He was previously the Head of Credit (Cairo) at Arab African International Bank whereby he led several syndicated loans in a variety of economic sectors, working closely with the largest lenders inside and outside Egypt. Mr. Morsy is an Experienced Regional Investment and Risk Champion with a proven track record in building-up portfolios and breaking ground working with top companies in the region and Europe. Hs has an MBA (finance) from the University of New Brunswick, Canada and MSc (Investment Banking & Islamic Finance) from Henley Business School, UK. He is also a Chartered Islamic Finance professional and a visiting fellow in the MBA program at the Maastricht school of business (Cairo Campus). He was also a board member of Global Lease, Archer Lease, and currently supervisory board member at the ChangeLabs (Start-up Accelerator Cyprus), Noqood Financial Holding and a freelance writer at the Billionaire Chronicle (UAE)

Nader Ibrahim is Managing Partner and Board Member at Archer Capital, Managing Partner; Track Capital, CoFounder & CFO of teegara.com with around 25 years of experience in Finance and Investment managing portfolios and private equity funds. Moreover, he is the Financial Advisor for the IT Industry companies in Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center, Ministry of Communication and Information Technology. He was also member of Investment Committee of Misr Life Insurance Company, Egypt and former Board Member at Nubaria Sugar Refinery and Manufacturing. Board Member at National Investment and Real Estate Company, FEPS Business Incubator and Premier Investment. He is also Mentor with Injaz Egypt, Flat6Labs, NU Tech Space and Nilepreuner at Nile University. He led several mega transactions in RSM Financial Advisory, MH&P Management & Financial Consultants, Mashreq Capital, Al Ahly for Development and Investment, NAEEM Holding, IT Investment and Joint Arab Investment Corporation. Mr. Taha is a C-level executive Comes with extensive experience of more than 25 years in finance, accounting and management holding key positions such as Finance Manager, Financial Controller, CFO, CEO. He held several senior roles with Egypt’s largest conglomerates (e.g., MM Group, Bahgat Group) and leading companies (SEKEM, Maghrabi). During his tenure with FEP Capital, Mr. Tahan has led several investments in a variety of sectors including real estate, Media, food and beverages. He also served on the board of several companies in Egypt. Mr. Taha has a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Ain Shasm University and is a member of the Institute of Management Accountants.
